7. Student Pipelines — Educational & Professional

Two parallel ladders — every student walks the educational one regardless of whether they ever touch the co-curricular/professional track.

Educational pipeline (inside the curriculum)

  1. Freshman AI-literacy module (guidance seminar — the acceptable-use policy taught, not just posted).
  2. Sophomore/junior Tier 1 coursework embedded in existing courses (English, theology, math, science infusion units per §6).
  3. Junior/senior AP Capstone research track — AI-era research methods as the natural home for rigorous student work.
  4. Senior-year "Applied AI & Human Judgment" elective (Phase 1 pilot, working title) — the pathway's academic crown.

Professional pipeline (industry-facing)

Ladder structure, GM as founding node:

  1. Speaker series (Year 1) — GM + Cadillac F1 engineers + Tampa tech (ReliaQuest etc. — note Berkeley Prep alumni are already at these firms; Jesuit's alumni-in-tech mapping is a Phase 0 task).
  2. Project sponsorship (Year 1–2) — real briefs from real companies solved by student teams.
  3. Externship week (Year 2) — junior-year shadow placements; GM (Warren/Charlotte), Tampa partners.
  4. Summer internships + alumni network (Year 3+) — formalized placements; "Jesuit Tech Alumni" network as the compounding asset.
